Akrotiri Estate's Olive Grove and Accommodation in Martinborough is ideally located, with both Martinborough's internationally acclaimed vineyards and its excellent golf course within a short walking distance.
The luxurious open plan living and dining area is self-contained and private, with its own separate entrance – guests are made to feel at home and can come and go as they please.
The living room has patio doors opening onto a sunny side terrace, with views across the park-like garden and the Tararua Mountain Range beyond. Akrotiri Estate’s location is magical. The morning and afternoon sun streams in through a number of French doors in the living area.
Luxurious Italian leather furniture, photographic artwork, oriental rugs, sun blinds and sumptuous drapes provide a sophisticated ambience in which guests can relax - after a hard day's wine tasting, golf or shopping.
Take it easy in the living room, read a book or magazine from the library, watch a movie or listen to music and enjoy a glass of wine, whilst taking in the view. A selection of DVDs and CDs are available for guest use.
There is a log fire and heat pump for cosy winter evenings and air-conditioning for hot, dry summer days.
There are two bedrooms with comfortable queen beds that ensure a restful night’s sleep. Both have patio doors with access to the Luxury Spa Pool and terrace — which has elevated views over the gardens and the Tararua Mountain Range.
The crisp, Egyptian 400 thread count luxury cotton linen, cotton bathrobes for each guest and new carpets and drapes enhance the feeling of relaxation in this luxury retreat.
The tranquil 18 acre grounds are planted with over 15 different varietals of olive trees and with a wide variety of fruit and nut trees.

Sleeps 2, $250 - $579 Per NightThe Guest Wing at Akrotiri Estate is luxuriously appointed with its own private entrance, a large lounge/diner, a small library with books and magazines and a outdoor guest patio area with a large luxury 6-person Hot Springs Spa Pool and outdoor furniture. The Guest Wing has two guest bedrooms - the Spa Pool room and the Lavender room. Each has its own bathroom with shower and toilet (the Spa Pool room is en-suite) and a comfortable queen bed to ensure a restful night’s sleep. Each room of the Guest Wing has access to the guest patio area through a set of patio doors. The Spa Pool room's patio doors open directly out to the guest patio area — which has elevated views over the gardens, vineyards and the Tararua Mountain Range. FREE wireless internet and Continental Breakfast provisions are included within the tariff. Use of the Guest Wing and all facilities will be on an exclusive use basis - as we only take one booking at any one time. This is a great deal as the tour value alone would be $400 for 2 people. Tours are run by Travelling Light Photography; the tour advertised here focuses on locations and photography subjects in and around Martinborough and the South Wairarapa area only. Tours are led by Marcus Adams, who is a Professional Photographer and you will travel in a luxury 4WD vehicle around the Wairarapa. The tours are suitable for all levels and camera types, with a focus on coastal, rural, landscape and wildlife shots - guidance and tips included. The Guest Wing and use of all facilities will be on an exclusive use basis as we only take one booking at any one time. Maximum party size 4 adults in 2 bedrooms with use of 2 bathrooms.
